Per-App Control, Based on Your Mood
Grant, restrict, or deny root access to any app depending on your mood. Magisk Alpha APK brings features you never even imagined — surprising users with its powerful and innovative capabilities.
This isn’t a joke — it’s a game-changer for true Magisk users.
It is as reliable as the Magisk Alpha GitHub version, with no bugs or issues.

For example:
If you grant a restricted root to an app like Shizuku, it won’t function fully because it requires deep-level access.
But apps like Root Checker or Swift Backup may still work fine.

About Magisk-Alpha

How to Download and Install Magisk Alpha
It’s highly recommended to upgrade directly to Alpha Magisk if you’re currently using Magisk Manager, Magisk Delta, or Kitsune.
How to Upgrade to Alpha
- Download Alpha Magisk APK.
- Once downloaded, rename the Magisk-alpha.apk file to app-release.zip.
- Tap Rename, and confirm when prompted to change the file extension.

- You should now see a file named app-release.zip.
- Now, open either official Magisk or Kitsune Magisk — whichever one you’re already using.
- Go to the Modules section
- Tap Install from Storage
- Select the magisk-alpha.zip file

- Wait for the installation to complete.
- Once it’s done, reboot your device.
- After rebooting, open the newly installed Alpha app.
- It will automatically download and update to the latest version of Alpha.
How to Install Alpha App Without PC (First Time)
No PC is needed, but TWRP or another custom recovery must already be installed. This is the easiest method:
- Download the Alpha APK file from the download button.
- Go to your File Manager and find the APK file you downloaded.
- Rename it from magisk-alpha.apk to magisk-alpha.zip. Confirm the extension change if asked.

- Power off your device and then hold Power + Volume Up or Power + Volume Down depending on your phone, to boot into recovery mode.
- You must already have a custom recovery like TWRP installed. (This is the only step that requires prior setup.)
- In TWRP, tap Install, go to magisk alpha zip. Select it and swipe to confirm the flash.

- Wait for the process to finish.
- Once flashing is done, tap Reboot System.

- After reboot, install the same Alpha APK (don’t rename this one to .zip).
- Open it, and it will show Magisk is already installed.
